After an excellent local meal out this evening [Tues Nov 17th] hosted by Mr Dinesh, who runs Galilee Music School, we stopped at a roadside shop that has been open for absolutely years and is known by locals for [amongst other things] 'Beeda' - a mixture of healthy things wrapped in a beetle leaf, which you pop into your mouth and chew after a meal. It's excellent for the digestion, and you can see the guy making it in the vid!
